Natasha was placed in emergency temporary accommodation with her children after a period of homelessness.

However, the location of the accommodation was not ideal, as it was many miles from both her children’s school and their entire support network. Natasha’s health means she is unable to drive – making it difficult for her children to attend school, and leaving them isolated from their family.

This is when Natasha’s support worker with Housing Rights applied for a VRF grant on her behalf. The grant meant that Natasha was able to access a new home close to her family and her children’s school – providing a lifeline for them in a difficult time.
