Safety should be the first step, not another struggle.
Women fleeing domestic abuse often leave with only what they can carry. The fear doesn’t end when they walk out the door, it continues if they have nowhere safe to go.
Through emergency grants and frontline support, we help women secure a safe place to live and begin a new chapter free from violence. With your help, safety can become a reality.
How your donation helps
could help cover the essential costs that often block people’s ability to access suitable accommodation, such as ID.
could help someone keep their accommodation – helping to pay for items that make a house a home, such as kitchenware, white goods furniture and bedding, digital access, and / or enabling people to connect with services and their local community, apply for jobs, and stay in touch with loved ones.
could help cover the cost of a deposit or the first month’s rent for someone, making it possible for them to move into a safe new home.

Read MoreWho we are
St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity is a homelessness charity that works UK-wide and year-round. Our vision is for everyone to have a safe place to call home and the support they need to keep it.
What we do
To achieve our vision we work in three key areas: We help individuals directly into new accommodation through the provision of grants, we support and champion frontline workers and capture and share learning based on their insight and experiences and we test, develop and share solutions to key issues and build support for them with the public and policy makers.
Why we do it
It’s deeply concerning that so many people in the UK are experiencing homelessness. Safe, affordable housing should be accessible to everyone, and everyone deserves a place to call home. With your support, we can work to achieve that reality.
