It quickly became apparent that the flat was not suitable for them – there was an awful black mold growing all over the baby’s room, and Helen did not feel safe. Luckily, her support worker Becky was able to apply for our one-off homeless prevention grant, The Vicar’s Relief Fund. She used this to pay off a small debt that was not allowing her to move to a better flat for herself and her baby.
With our help, Helen was able to find a safer home for herself and her child – and this is only possible thanks to the generosity of our donors.
