It quickly became apparent that the flat was not suitable for them – there was an awful black mold growing all over the baby’s room, and Helen did not feel safe. Luckily, her support worker Becky was able to apply for one of our individual grants, which was used to pay off a small debt that was not allowing Helen to move to a better flat for herself and her baby.
With our help, Helen was able to find a safer home for herself and her child – and this is only possible thanks to the generosity of our donors.
