A Safe place to call home should never be too much to wish for.
Close your eyes and imagine your Christmas. Whatever you picture, you’re likely to be in the warmth of your home with people you love.
But what about those people at risk of homelessness or those who are experiencing its devastating impact right now. What would they ask for Christmas if they could make a wish. No doubt it would be for a Christmas happier than the one they are facing.
Last year, in England, 74,530 families with children were considered homeless*. We are here to support people across the UK experiencing homelessness in their wish of finding a place to call home. Through our Vicar’s Relief Fund we give emergency grants to people who are facing eviction so they can stay in their homes.
This Christmas, we will once again be working with BBC Radio 4, sharing the stories of some of the people we have been able to support.
Homelessness is on the rise in England* , but our wish is that everyone should have a safe place to call home. With your support, we can make that wish come true. A donation today could give someone like John (pictured) what they need to secure a safe home.
