On Wednesday 9th December join pub quiz extraordinaire Jay Flynn and guest host Hugh Dennis for a quick fire quiz in aid of the BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields.
We are delighted that Jay has offered his support, having risen to fame this year by using quizzes to raise spirits and money for vital causes, even being awarded an MBE by the Queen. For Jay the cause is particularly personal; having once been homeless himself, support from The Connection at St Martin’s helped him get back on his feet again. Jay will be joined by longstanding supporter and ambassador Hugh Dennis who we are equally thrilled to have on board.
And to make things extra special, one of our supporters has kindly offered to match fund up to £20,000 of donations raised by the event, meaning your donation through the event can go twice as far.
So gather your friends and family online for the quick fire questions and get involved! To take part all you need to do is tune into Jay’s YouTube channel and be ready for 8pm on Wednesday 9th December when the quiz goes live, and donate via Jay’s JustGiving page which you can access here.
