The St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity has a small staff team based at St Martin-in-the-Fields.  We are supported by a committed and able group of over 230 volunteers.

Tim Bissett, Director. Tim is our Director. He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Charity, working closely with the Trustees. Before joining St Martin’s, Tim was the Chief Executive of the Church Urban Fund. His interests include following the fortunes of Southampton FC and playing the trumpet. He is also a keen cyclist and runner.

Kirsty Gurm, Head of Fundraising. Kirsty is our Head of Fundraising. She joined us from Excellent Development in April 2015.  Kirsty’s role is to look after our many donors and spread our message to inspire people to give and get involved. She also manages our High Value Donor Programme. She enjoys cycling, running and escaping to green spaces in London.

Anna Hufton, Interim Head of Fundraising. Anna is our interim Head of Fundraising and joins us whilst Kirsty is on maternity leave. Anna has previously worked managing campaigns across different fundraising audiences, including managing emergency humanitarian appeals. Anna’s role is to oversee all fundraising activity, and in particular looks at expanding our audiences so we can continue to grow. She enjoys making the most of London’s food scene and escaping into the countryside for big walks.

Natalie King, Head of Development. Nat is our Head of Development. She manages the Frontline Network and the Vicar’s Relief Fund. In her previous role, she worked with homeless and vulnerably housed clients to help them access support services across London. When not juggling work and family life you’ll find her eating ice-cream and plotting her next adventure.

Mark Phillippo, Interim Head of Development. Mark is our Interim Head of Development, while Natalie is on maternity leave. He manages the Frontline Network and the Vicar’s Relief Fund.  He has worked in a variety of roles in the supported housing and homelessness sectors for the past 20 years.He enjoys live music, the theatre and playing 5-a-side football.

Alexander Colling, Interim Impact Manager. Alexander is our Interim Impact Manager. Among other things, he supports the team with grant assessment and payments. He has worked in frontline roles in homelessness in England, Scotland and Belgium over the past 12 years. When not working, he enjoys cycling around Europe for extended lengths of time.

Joe Peduzzi, Fundraising Manager. Joe is our Fundraising Manager. He manages our Trust Programme and the delivery of the annual Christmas Appeal. Joe plays drums and guitar and likes finding new places to eat.

Amanda Bennett, Partnerships Manager. Amanda is our Partnerships Manager. She manages the relationships with our 10 Partners and organises our Annual Conference. She has previously worked in frontline roles, Fundraising, Project Management and International Development work in the UK and West Africa, as well as in the diving industry in S.E. Asia. Outside of work, she loves adding extra stamps in her passport, photography and leading an amphibious lifestyle.

Jason Green, Charity Operations Officer. Jason is our Charity Operations Officer. He is responsible for the office administrative, facilities and financial functions of the Charity. Prior to St Martin’s, Jason worked in community charity and media policy. He enjoys reading, the theatre and cinema, the gym, history and travelling.

Natasha Peter, VRF Officer. Tasha leads on the data analysis for the VRF after previously working for three years at the Charity as one of the VRF Coordinators. She has worked in the charity sector in both a voluntary and paid capacity for over 20 years, including working for charities associated with mental health, substance misuse and end-of-life care. In her spare time she loves watching films and crocheting items which she photographs in different places around London and the UK.

Rachel Marshall, Policy and Communications Officer. Rachel is our Policy and Comms Officer. She communicates with frontline workers through the Frontline Network and shares learnings to influence local and national decision making. She has a background in social policy research and delivering community projects. Outside of work she enjoys sketching, maps and cycling to new spots in London.

Laura Aznar Herranz, Fundraising Coordinator. Laura is our Fundraising Coordinator. On top of supporting the team with all things Fundraising, she manages our digital channels, leading on communications strategy. She is also in charge of our Community Fundraising programme. When she is not at work, you might find her planning her next trip back home to Spain, hiking or lost in a good book.

Joe Coules, Local Network Coordinator. Joe is our Local Network Coordinator. He helps coordinate and promote the Training Fund, Shadowing Fund, Event Fund to frontline workers, as well as supporting events in areas that we do not have partners. He has previously worked and volunteered across the charity sector in homelessness services, criminal justice services and youth services. Outside of work he plays tag rugby, and he is constantly reading and drinking bubble tea.

Abi Tsuts, VRF Coordinator. Abi is one of our VRF Coordinators. She supports the Charity Team with assessments and payments. She has worked in the charity sector for over 8 years, with the last 6 in a grant giving. In her spare time, she likes eating, reading and at times, is known to actually enjoy doing DIY jobs around the house!
