Some of your most frequently asked questions…
- I want to know more about the new organisations you fund
- Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to make over £1.5 million available over three years to organisations which support our vision of everyone having a safe place to call home. We currently fund six projects, based across the four nations of the UK. They each focus on supporting people to secure, and keep, a safe place to live. This includes providing access to healthcare, legal advice and mental health support to help people move on from homelessness.

- What are the benefits of funding organisations through St Martin’s Charity, versus donating to them directly?
- The organisations we fund are doing wonderful work to support their communities in various different ways. With our informed overview of the sector, and thanks to your outstanding generosity, we are in a great position to identify areas of the country, as well as specific aspects of homelessness, that could benefit from funding and deliver long-lasting and impactful change to people’s lives.
- I want to know more about how investing in support workers benefits people experiencing homelessness
- The Frontline Network embodies our belief that, in order to support people experiencing homelessness and work towards the best outcomes for them, we need to invest in the support workers who are there for them every day. By providing opportunities for support workers to have their voice heard, apply for training funds, and access a network of support, we aim to ensure that people experiencing homelessness can access support that is effective, accessible and tailored to their needs.

- Do you support people all around the UK?
- Yes, we are a UK-wide charity. We directly fund seven organisations spread across the four nations of the UK. Our Vicar’s Relief Fund provides grants to people all over the country. And our network of support for frontline workers is open to people working in the sector, wherever they may be based in the UK.
