Additional grant form Glasspool Charity Trust

Vicar’s Relief Fund (VRF) Partners With Glasspool

St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity is partnering with Glasspool Charity Trust, to launch a 1 month pilot to provide household goods, starting on Monday 2 October 2017.

In October, frontline workers applying to the VRF for a deposit for their client to access independent or supported accommodation, under the accessing accommodation category, will also be able to apply for an additional top-up grant of £250 to fund household goods.

The household goods provided under the pilot scheme are:
• cooker, mini oven, microwave,
• washing machine,
• fridge, freezer or fridge-freezer, and
• bed/bedding.

Where there is a health or a disability need, or a mobility issue,
• tumble-dryer, washer-dryer or dishwasher, and
• carpeting/flooring
will also be considered.

From Monday 2 October, our standard online grant application form will include additional options for those wishing to apply for a top-up household goods grant (funded by Glasspool) when they are applying to the VRF for a deposit for independent or supported accommodation. The top-up grant for household goods will only be available as part of a joint application.
