‘Home’ means something different to everyone. For many of us, it’s a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, family and belonging. However, the truth is, far too many people will be without a home this Christmas. This year sees the 99th BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity raising money to help people find and keep a safe place to call home.

What we do
People who are at risk of losing their homes or urgently need to find a safe place to live often need a lump sum at short notice. Through trusted partners, we provide grants quickly to help people secure their accommodation.
Why we do it
It’s deeply concerning that so many people in the UK are experiencing homelessness. Safe, affordable housing should be accessible to everyone, and everyone deserves a place to call home. With your support, we can work to achieve that reality.
