Give the gift of home this Christmas

‘Home’ means something different to everyone. For many of us, it’s a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, family and belonging. However, the truth is, far too many people will be without a home this Christmas. But you can change that – a donation today will help us support people with emergency grants or household items that help make a house a home.

This year sees the 99th BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity raising money to help people find and keep a safe place to call home.

Donate today to help more people like Gary find the safety and security of a place to call home this Christmas.

How your donation helps

£40

could help cover the essential costs that often block people’s ability to access suitable accommodation, such as ID.

£90

could help someone like Gary keep their accommodation – helping to pay for items that make a house a home, such as kitchenware, white goods furniture and bedding, digital access, and / or enabling people to connect with services and their local community, apply for jobs, and stay in touch loved ones.

£200

could help cover the cost of a deposit or the first month’s rent for someone like Gary, making it possible for them to move into a safe new home.

Who we are

St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity is a homelessness charity that works UK-wide and year-round. Our vision is for everyone to have a safe place to call home and the support they need to keep it.

What we do

People who are at risk of losing their homes or urgently need to find a safe place to live often need a lump sum at short notice. Through trusted partners, we provide grants quickly to help people secure their accommodation.

Why we do it

It’s deeply concerning that so many people in the UK are experiencing homelessness. Safe, affordable housing should be accessible to everyone, and everyone deserves a place to call home. With your support, we can work to achieve that reality.
